Starting in July 2019 we will be running monthly professional development sessions looking at the basics of working in the arts industry. From “How do I sell my art” to “How do I run a successful workshop”. Participants will be able to learn from experts and ask questions in a supportive environment. The sessions will be followed by a social open to all to allow for further discussion and networking.
The first session will take place on Wednesday 10th July at 6.30pm and will look at “Branding, Marketing and Audience Engagement for Artists – how to get started” with Pablo Colella.
These sessions are open to anyone, free to Ort Gallery members and £5 for non-members, £3 for students/part-time employees, free to people not in work, £10 for people who can afford it.
“Branding, Marketing and Audience Engagement for Artists – how to get started” will look at:
– Establishing your personal brand
– Defining your artistic voice
– Integrating marketing into your creative process
– Encouraging audience engagement
Pablo will provide participants with worksheets and engagement strategies and answer any of your questions. Pablo will also offer advice on current marketing strategies to individuals depending on the size of the group.
