Navigating the arts… is an informal conversation led by Exodus Crooks.

Exodus will be sharing their own experience as an early career marginalised artist and then ask participants to join them in discussing a selection of topics including the following: knowing your fee, choosing the ‘right’ job, the bespoke needs of disabled artists and the problem with safe spaces.

Participants will use photography to collectively create a visual petition that advocates for more open conversations relating to the arts industry and breaks down the barriers between knowledge afforded to those who attended art school and those who didn’t.
