As part of the Stay and Play programme, our first poet in residence SamiRhymes returns to deliver a poetry workshop on the theme of Self-Care. The theme is inspired by both Ort’s focus on rest/wellbeing and the fact that International Self-Care Day happens to fall on the same weekend.

As part of the workshop participants will learn basic writing techniques, express, write and share written work inspired by prompts formed in the workshop. At the end of the workshop a uniquely collaborative poem will be pulled together and formed using words shared by participants

This workshop is suitable for children aged 5+, teenagers and adults of all writing abilities. Anyone who is looking for a safe place to express, write and learn both about and for self care.
