Our workshops take place amongst our exhibitions in the gallery and give children aged 5 to 11 and their parents a chance to explore the topics found in the artwork exhibited in a child friendly way.

For this workshop we will explore traditional Islamic art with a contemporary twist. Bring your floral and geometric designs to life with cardboard vessels and special 3D paint.

Run by professional artist Samantha Krankpod who is a local ceramic artist with 20 years creative teaching experience, working with children, families and adults. Her most recent projects have been in collaboration with mental health charities, designing and delivering bespoke art projects.
