Continuing on from his exhibition Beloved at Ort Gallery (on show until 29 Sept 2018), artist Kashif Nadim Chaudry will create a new piece of collaborative textile work with the local community.

CONSTELLATION is a community created single artwork built up over a series of textile workshops with Birmingham’s diverse communities at the LGBT Centre and Ort Gallery.

Join us on Sunday 16 September from 2pm at Ort Gallery as we draw on Chaudry’s family heritage in tailoring, to communally form one collective artwork, a collaborative constellation of fabrics, colours, and identities. This workshop is free to attend and suitable for all ages.

The final piece will be exhibited at the Birmingham LGBT Centre from Tuesday 20th November.
