Starting in September 2019 and running all the way into July 2020 Ort Gallery will be running Family Art Workshops every first and third Saturday of the month at 2pm!

The workshops take place amongst our exhibitions in the gallery and give children aged 5 to 11 and their parents a chance to explore the topics found in the artwork exhibited.

Run by professional artist Samantha who is a local ceramic artist with 20 years creative teaching experience, working with children, families and adults. Her most recent projects have been in collaboration with mental health charities, designing and delivering bespoke art projects.

In this session, participants will be embracing the ‘beautiful botanic’ and design, hand build and decorate flowers, leaves and lovely bugs using air drying clay and embellishments.

The cost for each workshop is £4 per child, parents do not have to pay but we ask you to stay and take part with your child.
