Unveiling event: 9 December 2017, 2pm
Soul City Arts present a new, interactive, public artwork that celebrates the sights, sounds and stories of Birmingham’s iconic Ladypool Rd. A select team, led by internationally renowned artist Mohammed Ali MBE, are bringing together the worlds of street-art and mind- boggling 21st Century technical wizardry. When viewed using the camera of your smartphone or tablet, sections of the mural will spring to life!
The piece will introduce you to the world of augmented reality – an emergent technology that enables novel, playful interaction with real life objects. To take full advantage of the augmented reality features, make sure you download the AURASMA app (available FREE on the App Store and Android Play Store), then search for http://healthsavy.com and follow the ‘LADYPOOLMURAL’ channel.
The mural can be viewed throughout the 2 weeks of Spark Festival. You, your family and friends are also invited to meet the artists at the official unveiling event – on Saturday 9th December at 2pm.
